People ate the pie. So I can put down Carmel Popcorn Cream Pie as viable. As the only other two options is my friends were really hungry, or that the are willing to subject their taste buds to some very strange stuff out of their love for me.

Ok so if that worked for popcorn lettuce is the only next logical step....

Your mad science cooking skills usually produce some pretty awesome results so, for better or worse, we're usually game to try your experimental foods.

The pie didn't so much taste like carmel popcorn as have a carmel popcorn aftertaste. Which was very, very strange in a pie. But good. And also? Crazy sweet.

But...lettuce doesn't really taste like anything.
