firesion | Got a new toy

My work gave me a bonus this year and I have been wanting a new camera for some time. My old camera is a Olympus C5060 which was good, but not as big of an improvement from my older C2040. After doing some research it came down to a Olympus E-410, Nikon D-40, and a Panasonic FZ18. In the end the Olympus was not available at the local costco so I went with the Panasonic. The Panasonic is not a true DSLR its more of a customizable point and shoot. I have spent a good amount of time working the camera through its paces to see if it is right for me or if I should take it back to the store. Overall my first impression is very positive. 18X zoom up to 26.3 optical at 5M is impressive feature to play with. I might post a few of the photos later once I learn all the tricks with the camera.
