Just got back from attempting to vote. Found out that now it is illegal to have the same name as your father and the same address if you want to vote. Interesting that this changed from when I voted in the primary only a month or so ago. "Something must have changed" was what they told me at the poll. Even though I had my drivers license, US passport, and VOTER REGISTRATION card on me. So you would think I would get a provisional ballot? Well you see those are only for one of 9 possible situations mine was not one of them. So they wrote all over the thing trying to explain the issue and told me to call the 1-877-the-vote(waited on hold for an hour before giving up). My knowledge of how the process works now is that my vote will not be added to the tallies unless the results are to close to tell. Even then they will open my vote and have a conniption fit with the fact that my father voted early and most likely just invalidate both of our votes. Sorry for the rant I'm just not having a good day.
