Should I be alowed to clone at home?

I have been very interested in viruses, genetic engineering, and cloning recently. Not so much as is it ethical, but more along the lines of is it worth the extra $25 to get the dry state cloning kit over the wet. However, the answer, at least for now, seems to be that I am not allowed to mess around with genetic engineering in the garage. For some reason Jadesymb will not allow it. I am thus asking that anyone who reads this post to let me know if they support my efforts to set up my own genetics lab.
In other news I pre-ordered Guild Wars, and will be playing some this weekend. Hope the game rocks as much as I think it is going to.

Unless you can create a fully-grown homosexual clone of yourself, I'm going to have to side with jadesymb on the cloning issue.

I've heard both good and bad things about Guild Wars. I think I'll be sticking with WoW.

Cloning a human is doable on the basic level. Making a clone gay should also be doable. I believe that Brian Mustanski has already identified 6 genes that seem to be strongly related to being gay. I do not know of any place online to order pre-cut human genes. I could attempt to get the corresponding genes from a different line of mammal such as the common lab mouse. Unfortunately, even if I was able to successfully swap the code with my own DNA odds are it would not be easy to fertilize something with the result.
Something that would be more feasible is making a gay virus. It would still be difficult getting the human genes, but the theory of implementation is vastly easier. Take a non lethal member of the polyomaviruse family and splice it so that it infects a cell with the desired genes. Ideally you would remove all other parts of the virus so that the cell would simply reproduce as normal with the added new code. The down side to this approach would be getting a large enough dose to get a quick measurable result. It might happen that the person you inject with the virus only becomes gay after a few years of cellular reproduction.

It was fixed the next day. They accidently shut me off and came out and turned it back on.
