A few days ago we switched from Tivo and cable to Direct TV. This was based upon two factors. One was that after owning a HDTV for almost 7 years I wanted to receive HD programing. My cable company offered this, but the price and usability was not worth it. In the end the Direct TV setup could do everything and more then Tivo Cable combination for less money and had more HD content. It has taken a little while to adjust to the new system, but the cost/picture quality has been great. Only issue we have had is on some HD channels the sound unlinks sometimes resulting in a slight miss match between the video and voice tracks. Can't seem to find a reason why this happens just seems to be random. Overall for $95 I am getting more channels then cable and may get to watch the next season of the Tutors in HD :)

I also picked up Dark Heresy http://www.blackindustries.com/?template=40k This is a new percentile dice system. Love the book full color with lots of tables, art, and fun space opera goodness. Highly recommended.
